Our Story
Min. Curtis P. Crowner
Minister Curtis P. Crowner was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in June of 2020 and transitioned on November 22, 2020. He was a husband, a father, a grandfather, a son, a brother, an uncle and a friend. His superlative body of work as a minister impacted and touched many lives. He was also a diligent worker, and had the desire to help many people.
During this long, but short journey it became apparent to his daughter how difficult it can be to go through the process (Pancreatic Cancer). Due to cancer, Min. Curtis P. Crowner was no longer able to work and enjoy the energetic life he once had. Although a strong man of faith, this took a toll on his confidence and outlook on life. As his daughter took care of her dad for five months, she understood the burden this disease can have on one's mind, body, spirit and family. Although Min. Curtis P. Crowner had great financial and moral support from his family, at times it was still overwhelming to deal with. When taking her father to the Chemo Center, she realized that many patients affected by this disease, were alone and without physical, financial and emotional support.
Understanding the great and comprehensive burden cancer bears, she was compelled to find ways to help. As a result the CPC Foundation was birthed.
